New York, NY (July 22, 2010) — National law firm Epstein Becker Green is pleased to announce that the Firm has been ranked among the leading law firms for diversity by MultiCultural Law magazine.

Epstein Becker Green ranked 3rd in the magazine's listing for the "Top 50 Law Firms for Partners" and ranked 6th in its "Top 25 Law Firms for African-Americans" listing. The Firm also ranked 21st in its "Top 100 Law Firms for Women" listing.

"Our Firm is committed to maintaining a diverse workforce and fostering a work culture that promotes diversity in which our attorneys and staff members can develop to their fullest potential," said Douglas Hastings, Chair of the Board of Directors and a Member of the Firm's Health Care and Life Sciences practice in the Washington, D.C. office.

Kenneth G. Standard, Chair of the Firm's Diversity and Professional Development Committee, and a Member of the Firm in the Labor and Employment practice said, "We feel that our ability to draw on talent from a broad range of cultures, backgrounds and viewpoints is something that sets up apart and enables us to have a unique perspective in advising our clients on various complex issues."

MultiCultural Law magazine is dedicated to ensuring workplace diversity and highlighting the roles that minorities and women play in today's business world. The magazine selected its "Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity" based on statistics it compiled after surveying more than 200 top law firms. Distributed annually, MultiCultural Law magazine has a circulation of more than 40,000 legal professionals, as well as distribution to numerous legal organizations, all Fortune 1000 general counsel, and all ABA accredited law school career offices.

The recognition by MultiCultural Law magazine follows a string of recent high rankings for the Firm for its diversity. Epstein Becker Green was ranked among the Top 20 law firms in the nation for the high representation of women among its partners, according to The National Law Journal's 2009 survey of the 250 largest U.S. law firms. In addition, the Firm recently received high rankings in two separate surveys rating law firm diversity: American Lawyer's inaugural "'Women in Law Firms" study in 2009, and The Minority Law Journal's 2009 "Diversity Scorecard."
