New York, NY (September 19, 2016)Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that it will host its 35th Annual Workforce Management Briefing on October 18, 2016, at the Hilton Midtown in New York.

This year’s briefing—titled “Employers Under the Microscope: Is Change on the Horizon?”—is designed for corporate counsel and other high-level professionals with employment, labor, and benefits responsibilities. Government officials, in-house employment counsel, and EBG attorneys will address the latest labor and employment law developments and what they mean for employers of all sizes.

William J. Bratton, Former Police Commissioner, City of New York, will serve as the keynote speaker at this year’s event. The program’s plenary guest speakers include James Plunkett, Executive Director, and Marc Freedman, Director of Labor Law Policy, both at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. David Weil, Administrator, Wage and Hour Division, U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). Mr. Plunkett and Mr. Freedman will discuss the regulatory landscape and expected developments affecting employers following the November elections, including new overtime rules, interpretation and enforcement actions of the DOL, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s actions of collecting compensation data.
