Washington, DC (May 9, 2018) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that Neah Evering was awarded the Robert D. Reif Fellowship in Legal Ethics and Professional Values at a reception at the Firm’s Washington, DC, office on May 2. EBG created the Robert D. Reif Fellowship in 2012 with the assistance of American University Washington College of Law. The mission of the Fellowship is to honor the memory of EBG’s longtime partner Bob Reif by furthering his commitment in the practice of law to maintaining the highest level of ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, fellow attorneys, and the community.

After a review of essays on topics involving legal ethics and professional values and a series of interviews with a group of finalists, Ms. Evering, a law student at American University, was chosen by the Selection Committee to receive the Firm’s fifth Fellowship award. Ms. Evering’s paper is titled “Protecting the Young Associate: How the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct Can Better Protect Young Associates in Big Law from Sexual Harassment.” Ms. Evering presented an overview of her paper at the reception.

The firm also congratulates the following finalists for their submissions:
