EW YORK (Oct. 1, 2012) — Michelle Capezza, an attorney with Epstein Becker Green, is being recognized with the Excellence in Achievement Award from the Peter W. Rodino, Jr. Society at Seton Hall School of Law for her commitment to excellence and compassionate service in the field of law. The award ceremony will be held at the Society's annual banquet on October 17, 2012, in Newark, New Jersey.
The award is conferred annually to an attorney of Italian-American heritage who exemplifies the values of Congressman Peter W. Rodino, Jr.: compassion, wisdom, and honor. Congressman Rodino was known for his sponsorship of legislation that made Columbus Day a national holiday and for acting as the "fair moderator" of the partisan impeachment hearings of President Nixon. He was widely respected by people in the local, regional, and national communities and his legacy will endure forever.
