Washington, DC (January 15, 2009) - EBG Advisors, Inc. and Oldaker Group announced today the formation of National Health Advisors, LLC, a strategic alliance of the public policy affiliate of Epstein Becker Green—one of the country's premier health care law firms—and a leading government relations firm.

As the Obama Administration and the 111th Congress begin their work to reform America's health care system, the Washington DC-based joint venture offers lobbying and consulting services to companies needing to understand and impact the reform debate. Services offered by National Health Advisors include:

  • Legislative Advocacy
  • Health Policy Analysis
  • Coalition Building
  • Strategic Messaging and Alliance Development
  • Legislative and Regulatory Risk Assessments

EBG Advisors, Inc., is a Washington, D.C. consultancy addressing strategy and public policy issues for developers of biosciences innovations; providers of health care services; trade associations, coalitions, and alliances; private-equity and investment firms; and other organizations participating in the health care industry.

EBG Advisors is an affiliate of Epstein Becker & Green, P.C. , one of the nation's largest health care and life sciences legal firms. Leslie Norwalk, former Acting Administrator and Deputy Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, is strategic counsel to the firm.

The Oldaker Group, LLC, affiliated with Oldaker, Belair & Wittie, LLP, is noted for its legislative and lobby advice and federal election law expertise. Bill Oldaker, veteran lobbyist, has been described by The New York Times as "a longtime Washington insider" and "advisor to Democratic leaders."

"National Health Advisors will fuse the knowledge of 135 healthcare lawyers and consultants with the Capitol Hill advocacy expertise of the Oldaker Group's professionals," said Epstein Becker Green Chair Doug Hastings.

Bill Oldaker added: "This blend of resources will provide solutions for health care clients facing fast-paced legislative and regulatory change."
