Swirsky told Law360. “The chair is now a Republican and a management-side labor lawyer, as opposed to somebody like Mark Pearce, who, after he left practicing as a field attorney and regional director, was representing unions and labor organizations. It’s kind of the way this has gone for many, many years.” …
“He looks at it from the perspective of a practitioner who’s represented employers before the board, who’s really been in that arena, and I think he expresses the logic of his views when he thinks the majority has been wrong,” Swirsky said.
