Continuing the two-part series concerning the New York City Human Rights Law (HRL), this article addresses the inconsistent rulings of two New York State Appellate Division decisions concerning summary judgment standards in discrimination cases and the need for the New York Court of Appeals to establish clear-cut standards for city HRL claims, which will serve to benefit litigants, their counsel and the courts alike.
