Jeffrey Ruzal, senior counsel at management firm Epstein Becker & Green in New York, said certain businesses were already motivated to convert workers to nonexempt, especially if they employed people earning significantly below the new threshold. Trump's election now gives clients more motivation to reclassify employees as overtime eligible, he told Bloomberg BNA Nov. 14.
