Stuart M. Gerson; Ted Kennedy, Jr.; and Philo D. Prior to joining our platform, Messrs. Atlas, Gerson, Hall, and Kennedy worked, in both the private and public sectors, on legal, policy, and strategic business matters for the health care industry.  

BOB ATLAS most recently served as an advisor on Medicaid reform to North Carolina’s Secretary of Health and Human Services. Over the last 30 years, he has also served in high-level roles at the consulting firms of Avalere Health, The Lewin Group, and Jurgovan & Blair Inc., during which time he supported the early formation of the managed care industry and the growth of what is now called Medicare Advantage.

STUART M. GERSON was the acting Attorney General of the United States during the Clinton administration, after having served as President George H. W. Bush’s appointee as Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division of the Department of Justice. He also has been an advisor to both Presidents Bush, including as part of the George H. W. Bush administration’s National Health Policy Working Group, serving as head of its Medical Malpractice Reform Working Group.

PHILO D. HALL served in both the legislative and executive branches of government. Mr. Hall was the Counselor to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he directly advised the Secretary and managed initiatives on a diverse portfolio of issues. Prior to that, he served as the Associate Director for Health on the White House Domestic Policy Council and on the professional staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions.

TED KENNEDY, JR., co-founded and served as President of the Marwood Group, a health care-focused strategic advisory and financial services firm that advised hundreds of the nation’s foremost health care companies, institutional investors, and trade associations. He is currently a State Senator in the Connecticut General Assembly and serves as the Senate Chair of the Environment Committee and as a member of the Transportation, Internship, and Public Health Committees.
