New York, NY (November 30, 2012) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is pleased to announce that it has been ranked in the top 30 among 650 law firms nationwide for outstanding client service in the BTI Consulting Group's 2013 "Client Service A-Team" report. This earns the firm a spot among law firms, which according to BTI, performed five to 15 times better than all others. This is the second time that EBG has achieved this recognition in the BTI survey.

According to the survey, clients repeatedly applaud EBG's "superior industry knowledge and skills," claiming they "have knowledgeable lawyers who are experts in their field." EBG receives particular praise for its "commitment to leadership" in the health care industry. Clients surveyed by BTI cited the quality of legal services as well as the "customer service" provided by the firm.

EBG earned its spot in the BTI's elite "Client Service 30," which is the "best-in-class" of the "Client Service A-Team." The firm was recognized by corporate counsel in 14 key areas of the following criteria: "Anticipates the Client's Needs, Breadth of Services, Brings Together National Resources, Client Focus, Commitment to Help, Deals with Unexpected Changes, Handles Problems, Helps Advise on Business Issues, Innovative Approach, Keeps Clients Informed, Legal Skills, Meets Core Scope, Quality Products, and Understands the Client's Business."

"We pride ourselves in developing innovative ways to not only meet our clients' expectations, but to exceed them," said Douglas A. Hastings, Chair of the firm's Board of Directors. "Offering focused client service is accomplished through being highly responsive and attentive to our clients' needs, having a deep understanding of their industry sectors, and collaborating with them to find creative and viable solutions. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire team of lawyers and staff."

BTI Consulting Group is the leading provider of strategic market research in the legal community. Its "Client Service A-Team" survey is based solely on objective, unbiased client feedback from more than 300 in-depth interviews with corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies. It only includes law firms that clients delineate as best in the 17 activities proven to drive superior client service — in an unprompted manner.

The BTI survey comes on the heels of high EBG rankings earlier this year in three separate surveys rating law firms including: Receiving the 2012 Chambers USA Award for Excellence in the Healthcare category from Chambers & Partners; Recognition among the top "Best Law Firms for Women" by Working Mother& Flex-Time Lawyers for 2012; and being awarded the Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum, which recognizes law firms that have successfully integrated and promoted a large percentage of their equity women partners to top leadership and management positions within their organizations.
