EBG Recognized By Diversity & the Bar Magazine For Third Consecutive Year

Diversity & the Bar

For the third consecutive year, Epstein Becker Green has been recognized by Diversity & the Bar magazine for its high percentage of minority equity partners.

In the magazine's September-October issue, Epstein Becker Green was selected for inclusion on a shortlist of ten American law firms with between 20 and 99 equity partners, of which at least 9 percent are minority equity partners.

The survey was based on data from 277 major law firms appearing in the 2009 edition of the Vault/MCC Guide to Law Firm Diversity Programs.

Kenneth G. Standard, Chairman of the Firm's Diversity and Professional Development Committee, said: "Our Firm is pleased by the recognition by Diversity & The Bar magazine. We remain committed to maintaining a diverse workforce and an environment in which all attorneys and staff members can develop to their fullest potential."

Diversity & the Bar, a publication of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), examines issues relating to the recruitment, retention, and promotion of minority attorneys in order to establish inclusiveness in the practice of law.

MCCA was founded in 1997 to advocate for the expanded hiring, retention, and promotion of minority attorneys in corporate law departments and the law firms that serve them. MCCA accomplishes its mission through the collection and dissemination of information about diversity in the legal profession, and Diversity & the Bar is the signature publication of the association.
