Pointing to her long record at the commission, David Garland of Epstein Becker & Green PC told Law360 that Lipnic “strongly believes in enforcing laws that are under the jurisdiction of the EEOC” but is keenly aware that the agency, on occasion, might overstep its authority.
“She's mindful that the EEOC, on occasion, may go too far beyond its authority,” Garland said, adding that Lipnic will likely “continue to be strong” in enforcing laws that fall under the agency's purview.
