New York, NY (March 31, 2014) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green is pleased to announce that it has been ranked in the top 25 percent of law firms with the best client relationships at Fortune 1000 and large companies, according to BTI Consulting Group ("BTI") in its 2014 Client Relationship Scorecard.

BTI noted that the two main criteria that placed Epstein Becker Green at the top include: (i) corporate counsel's indication that Epstein Becker Green is seen as their "primary" or "go to" law firm, and (ii) the both vibrant and enthusiastic client recommendations received.

"Clients want to work with lawyers who truly understand the issues particular to their industry and are passionate in working with them to find solutions," said Mark Lutes, Chair of the Firm's Board of Directors. "We are gratified that BTI's survey confirms that our clients feel our lawyers' passion for problem solving and appreciate the value we deliver to them day to day."

"Our focus has always been to have meaningful, quality relationships with our clients. They are the backbone of our business and meeting their needs is our number one priority. Given that the BTI ranking is determined by client feedback, we view this recognition as a significant achievement and a testament to our work," said Carmine Iannaccone, Managing Director of the firm.

BTI, the leading provider of strategic market research in the legal community, has conducted more independent research on how clients acquire, manage, and evaluate their professional service providers than virtually any other organization. For its 2014 Client Relationship Scorecard, BTI conducted independent, one-on-one interviews with more than 500 corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 and large companies in 2013 to obtain their insights on legal spending, key issues that they are facing, and their relationships with law firms. Then, BTI quantified and analyzed these interviews to determine precisely which law firms have the strongest and most plentiful client relationships.
