Adam C. Solander, a Member of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice, in the firm’s Washington, DC, office, was quoted in Ameri Publications, in “Workers Unlikely to See Relief from Delay of Health Plan Tax.”

Following is an excerpt:

Employers with generous benefit packages have been keeping an eye on the approaching tax for years, and some have already implemented changes with an eye to avoiding the tax. This tax was to be collected starting in 2018 from companies and insurers, some of whom would likely pass it on to workers, if they provided health insurance policies with extensive coverage.

“The recent vote to repeal the Cadillac Tax is a strong acknowledgement that there is bi-partisan support to repeal or significantly amend the Cadillac Tax,” said Adam C. Solander, a member at Epstein Becker Green, to RevCycleIntelligence.com.
