Adam Forman, a Member of the Firm in the Employment, Labor, and Workforce Management practice, in the firm’s Chicago and Detroit offices, was quoted in The Detroit News, in “Working with Madness.”
Following is an excerpt:
Adam Forman, an attorney with Epstein Becker Green in Detroit and Chicago, told the Society for Human Resources Management its members need to tread carefully.
“It may make sense, from a workplace morale perspective, for an employer to set parameters for March Madness activity, remind employees about its existing policies and procedures, and only monitor if it has reason to believe that an employee is engaging in activities outside of what is permitted,” Forman said.
