Reinventing the Wheel – Class Action or Multiple Proceedings Over the Same Action: The Practical Implications of D.R. Horton
131 West 38th Street
Kristopher D. Reichardt, an Associate, will participate in the panel discussion "Reinventing the Wheel - Class Action or Multiple Proceedings Over the Same Action: The Practical Implications of D.R. Horton," a CLE-credited Labor & Employment Relations Association (LERA) event.
On January 3, 2012, the NLRB issued its decision in D.R. Horton where it found that an employer violates Section 8(a)(1) of the NLRA when it requires employees covered by the Act, as a condition of employment, to sign an agreement that precludes them from filing joint, class or collective claims addressing wages, hours or other terms and conditions of employment against the employer in any forum, arbitral or judicial. Attendees of this panel discussion will learn about the practical effects of this decision.
