Health Care Industry Access Initiative Webinar: Beyond Health Reform to Health Care Access: How Strategies from Past Access Initiatives Can Help to Achieve Success in Health Reform
Health reform is now at the half year mark. The economics of health reform depend on a broad range of newly insured people participating in the health care marketplace, and payors and providers alike are anticipating new demands for their products and services. Yet, previous experience shows that current health care programs for the uninsured are under-enrolled, calling into question the Affordable Care Act's ability to meaningfully increase access to both health care coverage and services.
Please join us for a "lunch and learn" webinar addressing the challenges, opportunities, and strategies for achieving health care access in the context of health reform. We will discuss health reform's access provisions and limitations, and suggest practical solutions based on lessons learned from pre-health reform access initiatives.
