As the culmination of AHLA's educational year, the Annual Meeting provides a forum for networking and interaction with colleagues, friends, and family as well as an outstanding educational event. Throughout the program, members attend breakout sessions on various topics delivered by leading private practitioners, in-house counsel and government representatives, spend time networking with colleagues at the breakfasts, Practice Group luncheons and receptions and enjoy all that Washington, DC has to offer.

This year's Keynote Address will be given by Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius. Following the Keynote Address will be Donald Berwick, President and CEO of the Institute of Healthcare Improvement. There are more than 35 sessions on a broad range of health law topics in the areas of fraud and abuse, antitrust, tax, hospital issues, payor and plan issues, physician issues, business transactions, life sciences, and reimbursement.

Epstein Becker Green attorney Douglas A. Hastings will be one of the panelists at the session entitled "Strategies for Recruitment and Retention of Diverse Attorneys."
