San Diego Convention Center

Kim Tyrrell-Knott, Member of the Firm, joins a panel discussion, "New Advances in Managing Chronic Disease," at the AdvaMed 2015 Conference, which runs from October 5 to 7, 2015.
The data behind the impact of chronic disease is staggering and proof of an epidemic that desperately needs to be addressed. Chronic disease costs the U.S. more than $1 trillion annually and accounts for every $3 of $4 spent on health care. Chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer are the leading causes of disability and death. New advances in managing chronic disease are critical to combat the alarming financial and human costs.
Panelists representing industry, academic, public health, and provider perspectives will explore how innovation and technological advances can change the future outlook of chronic illness through existing technologies and real-world scenarios from the community.
