2012 NJTC Annual Meeting
Cosponsored by the
Technology Team of Epstein Becker Green
Michelle Capezza, Member of the Firm, will represent Epstein Becker Green at the New Jersey Technology Council 2012 Annual Meeting.
The keynote speaker will be Jon Gertner, an editor and writer whose stories on business, science, and technology have appeared in a host of national magazines and have been widely anthologized.
Since 2004, Mr. Gertner has worked as a contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine, where he has contributed over 30 features, including eight cover stories. He is currently an editor at Fast Company, where he writes often about innovation and Silicon Valley. His new book from Penguin Press - The Idea Factory: Bell Labs and the Great Age of American Innovation - arose from Jon's interest in tracing the origins of America's culture of innovation as well as his deep familiarity with the Bell Labs organization itself (he grew up in Berkeley Heights, NJ, the site of the Labs' fabled Murray Hill complex). The Idea Factory is his first book. A graduate of Cornell University, Jon lives in Maplewood, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
