ASSOCIATE: Labor & Employment (ADA)
The New York City office of Epstein Becker & Green seeks an attorney to work at the level of a third to seventh year associate to join its national management-side labor and employment practice.
This position requires extensive familiarity with accessibility issues (e.g., the ADA, Rehabilitation Act, and equivalent state/local laws) and with public accommodation issues. Experience with Federal court employment litigation, particularly litigation under Title III of the ADA, as well as experience with the DOJ, state or local regulatory investigations regarding accessibility are required. Also, experience against major advocacy groups for the disabled and/or regular accessibility Plaintiff’s counsel and experience with reasonable accommodation/leave issues under Title I of the ADA and the FMLA preferred. Must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Admission to practice law in New York is mandatory.
