Kevin J. Ryan Rejoins Epstein Becker Green’s Health Care and Life Sciences Practice in ChicagoJuly 19, 2011
New York (July 19, 2011) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green today announced that Kevin J. Ryan has rejoined the Firm's Health Care and Life Sciences practice as a Member of the Firm in the Chicago office.
Most recently, Ryan was principal at a law firm in Chicago and chair of its Health Care practice. He concentrates his practice on legal and regulatory issues facing the health care industry. Kevin advises for-profit and not-for-profit businesses on a variety of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and maintenance of tax-exempt status. He counsels clients on day-to-day, operational issues such as the negotiation and drafting of managed care agreements, physician employment agreements, licensing agreements, and management services agreements. In addition, he counsels clients on state and federal regulatory issues, including HIPAA, anti-kickback and physician-self referral. Ryan worked at Epstein Becker Green from 2006 to 2009.
