Epstein Becker Green’s Kenneth G. Standard Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

New York, NY (August 28, 2015) – Epstein Becker Green (EBG) is proud to announce that Kenneth G. Standard, General Counsel Emeritus and Of Counsel, has been awarded a New York Law Journal (NYLJ) Lifetime Achievement Award as part of its annual “Lawyers Who Lead By Example” awards. According to NYLJ, these awards honor attorneys “who have made an outstanding contribution by providing free legal services to low- and moderate-income New Yorkers and/or who have devoted their time to public service in the form of improvement to the courts, the laws or the profession.”

Mr. Standard has been recognized over the years for his incredible contributions to the legal community and especially to those underserved and most in need of representation. He was presented with the Epstein Becker Green “Make a Difference” Award in 2014 and has been profiled as part of The HistoryMakers collection, which is archived at the Library of Congress. Mr. Standard was also the 2011 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award of Excellence in Pipeline Diversity from the American Bar Association.

As part the NYLJ Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Standard will be featured in an upcoming special section of the NYLJ and will be honored at an event in New York in October.
