Epstein Becker Green Promotes Four Attorneys in Its National Health Care and Life Sciences and Labor and Employment PracticesOctober 23, 2014
NEW YORK (October 23, 2014) – The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green announced that it has promoted attorneys Emily Bajcsi, James Boiani, Daniel Levy, and Adam Solander to Members of the Firm.
Emily Bajcsi, a member of the Health Care and Life Sciences practice, is based in the firm’s Boston office. Her practice focuses on fraud and abuse, federal and state regulatory, and compliance issues affecting a broad range of health care stakeholders, including home health agencies, hospices, rehabilitation agencies, and other post-acute and long-term care providers; hospitals and health systems; medical transportation providers; pharmaceutical and device manufacturers; physician organizations; and investors and other financial institutions that invest in or support the health care industry.
James Boiani, a member of the Health Care and Life Sciences practice, is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. He has extensive experience in FDA legal and regulatory matters, having worked with large and small medical device and drug companies (including many in vitro diagnostic companies) and trade associations in the life sciences industry on a variety of FDA-related issues.
Daniel Levy, a member of the Labor and Employment practice, is based in the firm's Newark office. He counsels health care entities and other businesses on various complex commercial litigation, pre-litigation issues, and workplace issues. Levy has efficiently and effectively represented clients in employment-related litigation in a broad array of matters, including claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblowing and retaliation, wage and hour litigation, and trade secrets.
Adam Solander, a member of the Health Care and Life Sciences practice, is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. Solander concentrates his practice in reimbursement, regulatory, and compliance matters affecting health care manufacturers, service providers, and investors in health care organizations. He also advises health care clients on issues concerning ERISA preemption, obligations of plan fiduciaries and breach of fiduciary duties, prohibited transactions, and denial of benefits. Solander is a Certified CSF Practitioner, a designation given by the Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST), an organization that provides training to develop and maintain effective security programs for health care and life sciences companies that comply with security laws, regulations, and standards, including HITECH, HIPAA, PCI, JCAHO, CMS, ISO, NIST, and various other federal, state, and business requirements.
