New York, NY (November 14, 2012) — The national law firm of Epstein Becker Green today announced that it has promoted 13 of its attorneys in four of its practices — Health Care and Life Sciences, Labor and Employment, Litigation, and Corporate Services.

Kirsten Backstrom, Jay Gerzog, and Constance Wilkinson have been elected as Shareholders in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice. Backstrom, based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, concentrates her practice in the areas of health regulatory compliance, Medicare reimbursement, fraud and abuse, and government investigations. Gerzog, based in the firm's New York office, has more than 25 years of experience in tax, corporate, and regulatory matters, particularly those relating to tax-exempt and not-for-profit organizations. Wilkinson, based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, focuses on federal health care contracting and pharmaceutical pricing.

In addition, Jeffrey Landes, Michael McGahan, and Amy Traub have been elected as Shareholders in the Labor and Employment practice. Landes, based in the firm's New York office, counsels clients in a variety of industries in all facets of employment law. McGahan, based in the firm's New York office, has more than 35 years of experience representing employers in traditional labor law in a wide range of industries including health care, insurance, and hospitality. Traub, based in the firm's New York office, regularly advises clients on a wide variety of employment-related issues.

Russell Adler has been elected as a Shareholder in the Corporate Services practice, in the New York office. Adler devotes his practice exclusively to estate planning, estate administration, elder law, income tax planning, and planning for persons with disabilities.

Furthermore, Amy Dow, Daniel Gospin, and Robert Wanermanhave been promoted to become Members of the Firm in the Health Care and Life Sciences practice. Dow, based in the firm's Chicago office, counsels clients regarding the research, approval, sale and promotion of pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices. Gospin, based in the firm's Houston office, represents a variety of health and life science entities, and advises investors and other financial institutions that invest in or support the health care industry. Wanerman, based in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, concentrates his practice on reimbursement, regulatory, and compliance matters affecting health care manufacturers, service providers, and investors in health care organizations.

Diana Costantino Gomprecht and Evan Rosen have been promoted to become Members of the Firm in the Labor and Employment practice. Gomprecht, based in the firm's New York office, handles a diverse range of employment and commercial disputes in federal and state courts. Rosen, based in the firm's Atlanta office, regularly counsels companies in all aspects of the employment relationship and compliance with employment laws.

Finally, Robert Travisano has been promoted to become a Member of the Firm in the Litigation practice, in the Newark office. Travisano concentrates his practice in the area of complex business disputes.
