2015 Health Access Summit Brings Together Industry Stakeholders for Important Discussions About Access to Health Care

WASHINGTON, DC (MAY 12, 2015) – As the issue of health care access continues to be a topic of much discussion under health care reform, Epstein Becker Green is proud to support the Health Care Industry Access Initiative’s 2015 Health Access Summit to be held May 20-21 at the FHI 360 Conference Center in Washington, DC. The Health Care Industry Access Initiative was founded by Carrie Valiant, Member of the Firm in Epstein Becker Green’s Health Care and Life Sciences practice, as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting collaborative action across the health care industry to improve health care access.

This year’s Summit brings together senior executives and health care industry stakeholders who are shaping best practices in health care access, to address a range of topics, including employer strategies to achieve health care access, the movement towards population health, innovations in medical service delivery, an update on the Affordable Care Act, strategies for optimizing health communication and engagement, and new concepts in extended and long term care.

“Our third annual Summit will provide plenty of opportunity to network, define challenges, share experiences, and work toward developing best practices for achieving health care access under health reform,” said Valiant, founder and president of the Health Care Industry Access Initiative and Member of the Firm in Epstein Becker Green’s Health Care and Life Sciences practice. “Attendees will hear from and network with senior executives from IBM, Geisinger Health Systems, Centene, Johns Hopkins, and other leading thought leaders, regarding strategies for getting people to the right care at the right time, place, and cost.”
