1L Pipeline Program

Mission Statement: The mission of the 1L Pipeline Program is to identify motivated 1L candidates who can contribute to the Firm’s core practice areas. Law students who participate in this Pipeline Program will get exposure to the core practice areas of the Firm through “real projects” and “real life experiences” that junior attorneys at Epstein Becker Green face, and will be given the opportunity to earn placement as a 2L in the Firm’s Summer Associate Program.

Criteria: Any candidate interested in applying for this Program must meet the following criteria:

  • Must currently be considered a 1L law school candidate (i.e., first year of law school for a three year program or second year of law school for a four year program).
  • Must be interested in learning and exploring opportunities in the fields of health care and life sciences law and/or labor & employment law.
  • Preferred candidates that are in the top 1/3 of their class (if rankings are available).

How to Apply: In 2015, Epstein Becker Green plans to hire two 1L students as part of the 1L Pipeline Program: one student for the New York office and one student for the Washington, DC, office. Any candidate who meets the above mentioned criteria and who wishes to apply to the 1L Pipeline Program should send a cover letter, resume, transcript, Law School letter of recommendation, and a short essay (500 words or less), indicating why you are interested in this program and why this program would benefit you no later than January 23, 2015, to:
