2017 1L Pipeline Program – Washington, DC Office

Mission Statement:  The mission of the 1L Pipeline Program in the Washington, DC office is to identify motivated 1L candidates who can contribute to the Firm’s Health Care and Life Sciences practice.  Law students who participate in this Pipeline Program will get exposure to the health care industry through “real projects” and “real life experiences” that junior attorneys at Epstein Becker Green face, and will be given the opportunity to earn placement as a 2L in the Firm’s Summer Associate Program.

Criteria:  Any candidate interested in applying for this Program must meet the following criteria:

  • Must currently be considered a 1L law school candidate (i.e., first year of law school for a three year program or second year of law school for a four year program);
  • Must have a demonstrated interest (through education and/or experience) in health care and life sciences law; and
  • Must be in the top 1/3 of their class (if rankings are available).

How to Apply:  Any candidate who meets the above mentioned criteria and who wishes to apply to the 2017 1L Pipeline Program in the Firm’s Washington, DC office should send a cover letter (which should indicate why you are interested in this program and why this program would benefit you), resume, and transcript (if available) to:

Additional Details:  Anyone wishing to apply for this program must send all required materials to Thalia Bowen no later than January 13, 2017.  Please reference DC 1L Pipeline Program Position in your cover letter.  It is ok to submit your cover letter and resume without your transcript if you have not yet received your transcript. The 1L Pipeline Program in the Washington, DC office will run from May 30 – August 4, 2017.  Students selected to participate in this Pipeline Program will receive a weekly salary of $1,850.

Mission Statement:  The mission of the 1L Pipeline Program in the New York office is to identify motivated 1L candidates who can contribute to the Firm’s Employment, Labor and Workforce Management practice.  Law students who participate in this Pipeline Program will get exposure this practice through “real projects” and “real life experiences” that junior attorneys at Epstein Becker Green face, and will be given the opportunity to earn placement as a 2L in the Firm’s Summer Associate Program.
